Overview

This lab makes the game feel responsive and finished. You’ll add background music and sound effects tied to events — jumping, collecting, winning, losing — and layer in small visual touches like animations, tweens, or a screen effect that confirm the player’s actions landed. None of this changes the rules of the game, but feedback is what makes a game feel good to play and helps players understand what just happened.

Steps

  1. Import audio assets and add AudioStreamPlayer nodes for music and effects.
  2. Play looping background music from a menu or level.
  3. Trigger sound effects from gameplay signals (jump, collect, hit, win).
  4. Add a simple animation with AnimationPlayer or a Tween for a key action.
  5. Add one piece of visual feedback (flash, shake, or pop) to reinforce an event.
