Overview
This lab makes the game feel responsive and finished. You’ll add background music and sound effects tied to events — jumping, collecting, winning, losing — and layer in small visual touches like animations, tweens, or a screen effect that confirm the player’s actions landed. None of this changes the rules of the game, but feedback is what makes a game feel good to play and helps players understand what just happened.
Steps
- Import audio assets and add AudioStreamPlayer nodes for music and effects.
- Play looping background music from a menu or level.
- Trigger sound effects from gameplay signals (jump, collect, hit, win).
- Add a simple animation with AnimationPlayer or a Tween for a key action.
- Add one piece of visual feedback (flash, shake, or pop) to reinforce an event.
